Hope for Humanity Outreach Events – Current Statistics:

Since 2010, Hope for Humanity has helped feed and clothe thousands of local families. Some of our outreaches include our Thanksgiving Distribution and the Christmas Distribution. We’ve given out hundreds of turkeys and supplementary bags of food to compliment a Thanksgiving meal to local needy families in the Four Corners area each year just before the Thanksgiving holiday. We’ve also given over 1000 new wrapped toys to local children in need through our Christmas Toy Distribution events. The Christmas event always brings a smile to the children with the addition of a guest appearance from Santa for the kids to visit and receive their gift from. We are very grateful to have had another successful holiday toy distribution in 2012 and we look forward to serving the community in 2013.

Other Recent Happenings:

Unfortunately in Sept 2012 our pilot men’s shelter program was closed.

Two years ago we received a donation of a double wide home and donated it to an indigent man. This year we also received a donation of an RV and were able to donate it to a homeless Army Veteran. God is good! We thank you for your generosity and kindness in helping these needy families and we want you to see the fruit of your donations.

Exciting News!

With the opening of our new Hope store we are now also donating a portion of our monthly proceeds towards Give Kids the World and the Rock Church Youth Ministry. It is a pleasure to see God’s hand blessing in this way and we are thankful to be a part of it.

Welcome! We are pleased to share that the Hope for Humanity Christmas Toy and Food Distribution Events in Lake and Polk Counties were a big success! Thanks so much to all the wonderful sponsors and individuals that contributed with a financial blessing, or with donations of food or toys towards this outreach to the needy families in our community. We appreciate it so much! So many were blessed by your generosity!

Registration Team did super handling 755 people coming through!  Registration team at Raintree Apts

Hope for Humanity offers a mobile food pantry for two counties in the area and at the holidays it runs special events. Here are some pics from this year’s Christmas Toy and Food Distribution held in Lake County at the Raintree Apartments Clubhouse and in Polk County at Cornerstone Baptist Church. There was a huge turn-out. We had the opportunity to share a blessing of candy canes, stocking stuffers, and an age appropriate wrapped gift with each child (between the ages of birth to seventeen years) plus a bag of food to each family. Over 755 people came through the doors with 370 being children who were able to enjoy seeing Santa and receiving a Christmas blessing this year.

Santa greeting the kids and taking a picture with them as they come through to receive a gift.   755 people came through and received a Christmas blessing through this outreach.

Our deepest thanks to all the amazing volunteers who helped wrap and sort gifts, register visitors, bag food, and decorate the room prior to the event. Your help made all the difference! Special thanks to volunteers from Target, Ark Ministries, Cornerstone Baptist Church, and The Way Church. It was such an added blessing to the families who came through to receive a smile and a warm greeting from you. Thanks again for your sacrifice of time and effort and for helping us stay organized during the event. The children and their families were greatly blessed. :)

Thanks to all our volunteers! You're awesome!  Volunteers from Target, Ark Ministries, and the local community over helped wrap gifts.
